Sixth Form Admissions

The Sixth Form only admits students from the age 16, and only after they have completed their GCSEs.

All students joining Academus Sixth will be required to have a GCSE at grade B or above in the subject that they want to study. Our list of subjects keeps growing and we strive to add more for our students as soon as they are available for independent candidates and we have the right teachers to teach those subjects. Additionally, a minimum of a grade C is required in English and Maths for all students in the Sixth Form. If however a student has grades lower than the required C in English and Maths, they are also enrolled onto those subjects in order to improve their grades, as all UK universities require a minimum of a grade C in these two core subjects in order to apply for any course.

We understand that a virtual learning environment is new to many students, and we schedule a full one-on-one demonstration and tutorial to help students enrolled with us so that they can build familiarity and confidence prior to starting the course. If you are interested in applying for AS/ A’Level courses, please contact the Admission’s Secretary either by telephone on 0203 3030873 or by email at
